GREENVILLE, SC (AP) -- Coach Lambrecht announced his plans to return as Clemson head coach next season.  Lambrecht had been contemplating retirement after the off ice issues the team had faced toward the end of the 2006-2007 season which lead to the 2006 coach of the year serving a controversial suspension issued by the ACHA.  In his address to the media he said "...there has been many highs and lows with this club over the past two seasons however its not time to call it quits just yet.  Time away from the game over the past few months has given me an opportunity to reflect back on my career and I've realized that I still have the passion for the game and more importantly to coach.  This team has come a long way the last couple of years and we are one or two key players away from competing for a national championship".  Coach Lambrecht is the longest tenured coach in Clemson Ice Hockey history.  He joined the club in 2005 after a distinguished playing career with the Robert Morris University Colonials.

Coach Lambrecht is looking forward to another great season with the Tigers.
